Two classes in Toronto

If you can't make it to (and through!) the intense, 3-day class Midori and I are doing on making your SM relationship all it can be, then consider a nice short class on another topic in one of my favorite cities!

Service Development – Making Yourself Ready to be Useful
Monday, August 2
2PM – 4pm
Renegade (www.renegadeonline.ca)
1266 Queen Street West, Toronto
$20 in advance, $30 at the door
email perspectivesinpower@gmail.com for details

When you are ready to go from “I’d like to” to “I will,” when you’ve moved beyond “whatever you like” to being sure about what you’re capable of offering, this class on service is for you. Laura will discuss the service resume, the butler book, the art of offering, and more. The workshop will also include an interactive discussion on what to do to prepare yourself, specific things to learn and how to find them, tips on what to do when the Top says “I don’t know” and when to ask for help and from who.

Advanced registration is available by emailing perspectivesonpower@gmail.com or tracking down Darren at a local event. Only those who have paid in full will be eligible for the $20 price.

Tell me What You Want, What You Really, REALLY Want
With Laura Antoniou
Often, when we try to tell our partners what we like or want, those words are filtered through things like expectations, projection, fear, shame and verbal shortcuts. Expand your creativity and verbal skills beyond “I like flogging” or ” anything you want” through an interactive game and exercise. Learn how creative communication and courageous risk-taking can make your relationship and play more intimate, satisfying and fun. Say what you mean, and mean what you say – and make it flirtatious and seductive!

Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 7:30 – 9:30pm (People of all genders welcome.)
Where: Come As You Are
Cost:$30/person (Sliding Scale Available)

If anyone in Toronto can make themselves available to help an author on her own in the city, drop me a line at Laura at lantoniou dot com  I could use rides, maybe a tour, maybe come company for dinner?
